Army National Guard

SBG provides support to the Army National Guard on multiple contracts.

Strength Maintenance Training Center (SMTC)
SBG provides a wide range of logistics, mobile training, training development, program management and operational support for the Strength Maintenance Training Center.

Federal Tuition Assistance (FTA)
As a prime contractor, SBG currently provides tuition assistance support to the Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR) and Program Manager (PM) for the National Guard Bureau Education Division (NGB-EDU). The Tuition Assistance (TA) Support Team will provide a seamless and smooth transition towards implementation of centralized payment processing of Federal Tuition Assistance (FTA) for the 54 States and Territories. The TA Support Team is located at Camp Joseph T. Robinson, North Little Rock, Arkansas. Additionally, SBG works closely with NGB-EDU, the 54 States & Territories and accredited schools to provide technical assistance regarding Army National Guard FTA issues and specified tasks.

Warrior Enhancement Leadership Training (WELT)
Work continues to go well with the development of an exciting new, custom-designed curriculum for the Army National Guard. Designed specifically for the Guard’s Patriot Academy (a specialty school for high school non-completers), the Warrior Enhancement Leadership and Training (WELT) curriculum covers topics ranging from the history of the National Guard to research ‘best practices’ and common military customs and courtesies, well as other client identified topics. Created by use of a series of PowerPoint based modules, the SBG team is also creating a ‘made-to-order’ companion facilitator’s guide to help facilitate high quality program delivery.
