Navy Altimetry Satellite System (GFO-2)
SBG Technology Solutions, Inc. supports research and development of major ACAT II weapon systems like the Geodetic/Geophysical Satellite (GEOSAT) Follow-On Two (GFO-2) for PEO Command, Control, Communications and Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I) systems command.

The GFO-2 system is a space-based sensor to measure ocean surface topography (sea surface height) and then to communicate that information to a ground segment for processing and timely dissemination to US Naval forces. This capability supports joint warfighter Battlespace Awareness by providing a timely, integrated, persistent, and credible data source. Information derived from this space-based sensing capability will provide critical inputs to operational ocean models used for Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), Mine Warfare (MIW), and Naval Special Warfare (NSW) mission planning, tactical decision aids, and sensor/weapon performance prediction.
