As a prime contractor, SBG currently provides technical and management support to the Technical Project Officer (TPO) in PEO IWS 4.0 for Surface and Electronic Warfare Systems Technology International Information and Data Exchange Agreements (IEA and DEA) execution including, but not limited to, various Land Attack Gun Systems and Technologies, Weapon Systems configurations and interfaces, and other Gun and Missile-related programs that are pertinent to the PEO IWS community. Efforts include, but are not limited to, monitoring agreements, planning exchange opportunities, documenting proceedings, reporting status on agreements and exchanges, supporting and coordinating international visits and meetings, developing milestones to obtain the maximum value from the exchange agreements and establishing metrics which measure this effort, preparing TPO presentations, revising agreements, and maintaining liaison with appropriate supporting organizations to include NAVSEA, NAVAIR SPAWAR, OPNAV and the Navy International Programs Office (NIPO). Additionally, SBG works closely with PEO IWS major programs in identifying potential international cooperative projects resulting from exchange activity held under the various international exchange agreements.
